SpywareBlaster does not scan and clean spyware - it prevents still being installed. SpywareBlaster blocks the installation of spyware ActiveX controls (and as Lop.com Xupiter) in its database, and may even prevent them from working if they are installed. The high-Check for updates allows quick and easy updates to the database (released frequently). Information on all the spyware in the database is also provided.

SpywareBlaster does not run in the background - simply select the items you want to be protected against (or select them all), press the Protect button and the protection is activated. You can also block spyware / tracking cookies, and includes a snapshot feature, which lets you take a snapshot of your computer to its state of cleanliness and return later, many changes made by spyware and hackers browser.
